Quality means value. Paying a few extra dollars to purchase top quality paint may be one of the best investments you can make. Top quality paint applies faster and easier, covers better, protects better, and adds years to the life of your paint job to save you time and money.

It's what's inside that counts. The binder is what "cements" the pigment particles into a uniform paint film and makes the paint adhere to the surface. The binder determines most of the paint's performance properties such as washabilitiy, durability, and color retention. Acrylic binders offer the best balance of performance properties. The pigment is the ingredient that gives paint its color and hiding power. Top quality paint has a higher percentage of pigment or "solids." The higher the solids in the paint, the thicker the paint's dry film will be, offering better protection for the surface. Top quality paint has less liquid, additives and fillers that reduce the performance characteristics of the paint film.

Hot Tip
Use quality painters tape. A high grade painters tape will not splinter nor will the adhesive dry. This will save the agony of scraping tape off windows and using adhesive removers which may damage paint and vinyl coating.

Brushes
The tools you use can make or break your finish. A good quality brush will save time and will create a more level finish. Bad brushes will leave bristle behind, big brush marks, and will not lay out enough paint.

New or old concrete can be coated in single colors, mixed colors, washed colors, and designs to meet many design needs.

Flashing
Comes in may different forms. Drywall is a very porous material. This material will absorb unbelievable quantities of acrylic from the paint. Acrylic give you you sheen. This uneven absorption will cause you to see shinny and dull areas on the wall. The solution is to spray bare or new dry wall with a Poly Vinyl Acrylic.
